Review: Love Story thrives amidst the exciting journey of the mountains, 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas'
Artist: Sahar Bamba, Karan Deol
Director: Sunny Deol
Most of the star kids in Bollywood debut in romantic films. Now another name has been added to this list and this is Karan Deol, grandson of Dharmendra, a Bollywood-only man. The film is directed by Karan's father Sunny Deol, who himself debuted in Bollywood from a romantic film 'Betab'. Like Sunny's first film 'Betab', in Karan's first film 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas', you will also get to see beautiful views of the Himalayas in North India.
The story of the film is of a video blogger Sahar Sethi (Sahar Bamba) who goes on trekking with a climber Karan Sehgal (Karan Deol) and falls in love with him. Will his love story reaches its end, the film's story is. Karan has his own trekking company while Sahar is the biggest video blogger in the country who goes for a walk to escape his family reunion. Here, he falls in love with Karan while fighting with them.
The film's first-half leads into an introduction by the pair and their fight fights. However, during this time, you get to see some of the most beautiful views of Himachal Pradesh in the film, which keep an eye on. Huh. The film's cinematography is amazing but the audience is not able to connect with both the lead characters. Sahar's character is that of a video blogger and budding singer who does not appear to be committed to anything. However, despite the characters being poorly written, both new actors are good at acting. Karan looks natural on-screen though he will have to improve the dialogue delivery while Sahar looks confident and promising in front of the camera. Sahar looks good in emotional scenes but she should improve her timing for comedy.
The chemistry of the lead pair does not attract you, but the music of the film has become very spectacular. You will get to see a lot of drama in the film till Climax but you do not feel connected to it. Everyone knows that director Sunny Deol wanted to create a simple and pure love story, but it was not possible due to a loosely written story and characters.
