Apple recently launched the iPhone 11 series, which has become available for pre-order in India from today ie 19 September. Simultaneously, Apple has also rollout watchOS 6 for Apple Watch users across the world including India. This new update has been rolled out for Watch Series 3 and Watch Series 4. The biggest feature of watchOS 6 is that the ECG app and irregular heart rhythm notification support will now be available on Apple Watch Series 4 in India.

While launching Watch Series 4 last year, Apple informed that soon users will get an in-built ECG app in it, after which they will be able to record electrocardiograms. This app will help in identifying the signs related to your heart condition. Note that this feature is available for Watch Series 4 and Watch Series 5.

To record ECG in Apple Watch, users have to launch a new ECG app and then hold the finger for a while on the digital crown. Holding about 30 fingers, the ECG app will be able to record your heart rhythm. Which you can later share as a PDF file. This app has been introduced keeping in mind the health of the users so that through Apple Watch you can focus on your health.

Along with the ECG app, the company has also provided the irregular heart rhythm notification feature in watchOS 6 update in India. This feature will monitor the irregular heart rhythm of users using optical heart sensor.
